Sir Hugh’s Old-Fashioned Whiskey Cocktail. It’s one of the most iconic drinks of the 60s. Though the Old-fashioned has been served since the 1800s, its popularity rose in the 1960s. Its mixture of sweet, fruity, and bitter flavors made it a go-to bar drink for many during that period – until today as well.
Ingredients:
- 50ml Red Earl Irish Whiskey
- 10ml sugar syrup
- 2 x dashes of Angostura bitters
- Orange zest
Process: Add and Stir the above ingredients slowly in a boston glass filled with Ice.
Served: On the rocks; poured over ice
