Red Earl Blended Irish Whiskey is a combination of ex bourbon-barrelled grain Irish whiskey and ex-sherry triple distilled malt, matured for 45

4 years and then merged to spend a further minimum period of 3 years in ex-Rioja casks. We chose Rioja for its spicy fruits and as a mark of respect to the resting place of Red Hugh himself near to the Rioja region of Spain.

Nose:
Subtle hints of cherry, strawberry, rose petal and citrus, layered on top of marzipan, almond and oak notes. Vibrant fruity notes on both the nose and palate.

Colour:
The Rioja wine cask imparts a colour reminiscent of a fine Rose wine.

Taste:
Taste delivers satisfying blends of toffee, vanilla and toasted almonds. These are complemented by delightful notes of cinnamon and clove, typical of spicy riojas.

Finish:
This whiskey has a medium bodied mouthfeel that ends in a long, warm and moreish fini
